Santana's best selling models combine advanced tandem-specific components with a frame built from a superior blend of Easton's 7000-series aluminum tubing. Santana, the only tandem builder with proprietary tubes from Easton, uses this advantage to create strong and comfortable frames which are more than two pounds lighter than our butted CroMoly models, and as much as three pounds lighter than aluminum frames from others. Because they can weigh as little as 30 pounds without regressing to unreliable solo-bike components, Santana's aluminum tandems are the most popular.
